Materials:

  • 6.5 mm K crochet hook
  • 2 balls of Soft Essentials Stripes by Red Heart Yarn in “Pixie Stripe”
  • Large Button (I used one that is about 1.5 inches wide)
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors

Sizing:

  • 14 inches wide
  • 32 inches long

  • Double Crochet (dc)

Instructions:

Ch 34 (Multiple of 4+2)

Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, work a dc. Work a dc in the next ch. In the next ch, work *(1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc). Skip the next ch, work a dc in each of the next two ch. Repeat from * across until there is one ch left, then work 1 dc in the last ch.

Row 2: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 space from the previous row. Repeat from * across. Work 3 dc in the top ch of the turning chain.

Repeat row 2 until wrap is 32 inches long or desired length.

Sew button using a matching piece of yarn in the corner of the starting edge (where the starting chain was made). Fasten off and weave in any ends that remain.
