Knitting instructions:

Orange Pillows

Pillow size: 40 x 40 cm

You will need: 250 g of orange and 100 g of white Boston yarn (70% polyacrylic, 30% sheep wool, 55 m/50 g); crochet hook size 8; one ready-made pillow measuring 40 x 40 cm.

Work description: With orange yarn, chain 44 + 3 turning chains and crochet in rows according to the pattern.

Start each row with 3 turning chains instead of the first dc and with the stitches before the repeat, work 8 repeats, finishing as indicated. After completing the 4th row, repeat 9 more times the 3rd + 4th rows = 22 rows, with the 7th and 8th, and the 15th and 16th rows worked with white yarn. After completing the 22nd row, one half of the pillow is finished. For the second half, crochet another 21 rows in the same sequence of colors and finish with the 5th row of the pattern = 44 rows.

Join both side edges and the lower edge with orange yarn using sc, leaving a 20 cm opening on the lower edge, i.e., when working the middle 20 cm, insert the hook only through the loops of the front half of the pillow. Insert the ready-made pillow inside the crocheted cover and sew the opening closed.
