With Spring Green, ch 55.
Row 1- 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hk and in each ch across. Ch 2, turn. (54 hdc)
Row 2- 1 hdc in each hdc across. Ch 2, turn. (54 hdc)
Row 3 to 11- 1 hdc in each hdc across. Ch 1, turn. (54 hdc)
Working on narrow end of scarflet:
Row 12- Work 16 sc across narrow edge. Ch 4, turn. (16 sc)
Rows 13 to 14- 1 sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 15- 1 sc in each of 1st 6 sc, ch 3, skip 3 sc, 1 sc in each of last 7 sc (buttonhole made.) Ch 1, turn.
Row 16- 1 sc in each sc and in each ch across. (16 sc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 17- 1 tr in each sc across. Ch 3, turn. (16 sc)

Row 7- Skip next dc and ch sp, skip next ch as well, yo, insert hook in next dc and pull up hook, begin dc but leave unfinished, repeat in next dc, yo and pull through all loops on hook.
