*Crochet hook size: 3.0mm
*Worsted Weight Yarn: Yellow (3yds) & Cream (2yds)
*Felt: Black
*Tapestry Needle
*Hot Glue (optional)

Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round/row indicate the total number of stitches.
Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
There's no need to sl st and/or ch when going to the next round unless stated to do so.

Other side of the foundation chains

BANANA bottom partwith yellow
Row 1: ch9, dc in 4th ch from hook (skip chs count as one dc), dc in next 4 chs, 2sc in next ch, other side of the foundation chains dc in next 6 chs, turn your work (14)
Row 2: ch6, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and into the next 4 chs, sl st across the top, ch6, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and into the next 4 chs, continue to sl st around the banana
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.


BANANA top partwith cream
Row 1: ch9, dc in 4th ch from hook (skip chs count as one dc), dc in next 4chs, 2sc in next ch, other side of the foundation chains dc in next 6 chs (14)
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.


ASSEMBLE
I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people like to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I personally like to use matching thread).
TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
Sew the top part behind the bottom part.
With black felt, cut a triangular shape and sew/glue it in place at the bottom of the banana.
