Easy Skill

Materials: Sport Weight Cotton Yarn;

MC (Lt. Pink)- 32 yds (28.8 meters) CC (Dark Pink)- 27 yds (24.3 meters)

Patons® «Grace» in Lt. Pink, and Dark Pink was used for the models.

Crochet Hook: Size F (3.75 mm) or size need for gauge.

Gauge: 5 sc and 7 Rows = 1"

Abbreviations

beg – beginning

CC – Contrasting Color

ch – chain

MC – Main Color

rem – remaining

rep – repeat

sc – single crochet

sl st – slip stitch

sp – space

st – stitch

yo – yarn over

Joining with SC

Begin with a slip know on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook

Single Crochet Decrease (sc dec):

Draw up a lp in the next two sts, yo and draw through all three lps on hook.

Halter Top

With MC and larger hook, ch 50 and finish off.

Row 1 (right side): Skip first 15 ch, join MC with a sc in 16th ch, sc in next 19 ch. (20 sc)

Rows 2-9: Ch 1, turn, sc dec, sc in each sc across to last 2 sc, sc dec.

At the end of Row 9 there will be 4 sc. Ch 15 (for first Tie). Finish off.

Opposite Tie

With right side facing, join MC in first sc of Row 9, ch 15, finish off.

Flower

With CC ch 5, sl st in 5th ch from hook, (ch 4, sl st) in same ch four times more. Finish off leaving long end for sewing. Sew Flower to Halter-Top using photo as a guide.
