Pompom (optional):
I added a gray, faux fur pompom to the center top of my hat by weaving yarn through the pompom and the top of my hat. Then weaved ends.

If you want to make a yarn pompom and don't have a pompom maker, then you can simply wrap yarn color of your choice around 4 of your fingers 50-60 times (or more, if so desired), use a long piece of yarn to secure a double knot at the center and then cut and trim to shape into a pompom.
