Small amounts of yellow and black / brown Dk / weight 3 yarn
3mm crochet hook

Bee
Starting with yellow
Round 1: ch2 and 12 dc into a magic circle. slst to first.
Change to brown / black
Round 2: ch1, sc in the same, sc 5. Turn leaving the rest unworked.
Change to yellow
Round 3: ch1, hdc in the same, hdc 5. Turn
Change to brown / black
Round 4: ch1, sc in the same, sc 5. Turn
Change to yellow
Round 5: ch1, hdc in the same, hdc 5. Turn
Round 6: ch1, insert hook into same stitch, pull up a loop, *insert hook into next stitch, pull up a loop* x 4, 7 loops on hook, pull through all 7 loops.
Fasten off
Wings
Join white to the centre of yellow stripe
For the first wing, *ch6, hdc in the third chain from hook, 1 dc in the next 3, slst to same space* repeat for the second wing.
Fasten off.
Small Bee
Starting with yellow
Round 1: ch2 and 8 hdc into a magic circle, slst to first.
Change to brown / black
