    • Dark and light grey, red and black thread
  • Hook size 3.5mm (E)
  • 6mm Safety Eyes, or an alternative form of eyes
  • Stitch Marker
  • PolyFill
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Pins

Notes-

  • Magic Ring Alternative – chain 2 and single crochet in the second chain from the hook.
  • This will be crocheted in the round.

Rd 2: inc (12)
Rd 3: sc, inc (18)
Rd 4: sc, inc, sc (24)
Rds 5-9: sc around (24) (5 rounds)
Rd 10: sc around in BLO (24) Insert the eyes between rds 5 and 6.
Rd 11: sc, dec, sc (18)
Rd 12: sc, dec (12)
Rd 13: dec (6)
Sl st in the next st, ch 3, sl st around the post on the other side of the opening, FO. Close the opening through the FLO and sew in the ends.

To make the “holes” at the bottom-
Dark Grey-

*(With yarn already on your hook, insert your hook in the hole between rds 6 and 7, then up through the hole in the rd above. Yo, pull down and out through the holes, then pull the yarn through the loop on the hook. This will be creating a sl st. Repeat 5 times toward the center MR) 4 times and FO. Now repeat from * 3 more times, placing one hole on either side of the face 9 sts apart and 1 st away from the eyes with the next 2 holes, 5 sts behind the first 2 holes. Those 2 holes will be 4 sts apart at the back. Sew in the ends.

Ribbon- Red-

Ch 18, FO slip through the loop at the top and tie.
