Crochet Beautiful Medal

You will need:
3x50g paintbox yarns cotton dk in pink, white and blue
1x metallic dk in martini (you can substitute this for any cotton or acrylic dk yarn)
3.5mm hook
stitch marker
small amount of toy stuffing
Medal is made using the amigurumi technique and worked in a spiral. Do not join after each row, use stitch marker at beginning of each row to help keep count
Abbreviations:
dc-double crochet
htrb- half treble crochet
st- stitch
inc- increase (2 dc in same st)
Make 2:
1.6dc in magic circle- 6 st
2. inc in each st- 12 st
3.(dc, inc) x6- 18st
4.(2dc, inc) x6- 24st
5.(3dc, inc) x6- 30st
6.(4dc, inc) x6- 36st
7.(5dc, inc) x6- 42st
8.(6dc, inc) x6- 48st
9.dc in each st
fasten off and weave in ends, do not fasten off after 2nd circle continue as follows:
Join circles with wrong sides together, lightly stuff and work dc through back loops as pictured:
to create the hanging loop: slip stitch to first dc, chain 5, skip 3 st, slip stitch to next st, chain 1 and turn, dc in 4 chain loops, slip stitch in last chain, fasten off and weave in ends
join 1st ribbon colour with slip stitch to side of the medal hanging loop
*chain 110, slip stitch to other side of medal loop. Chain 1 then dc in each loop of chain. Slip stitch in last chain and fasten off (be careful not to twist the chain here)
*join 2nd colour to first st of previous row, chain 1, htrb in next st and each st of previous row, slip stitch in last st, fasten off
*join colour 3 with slip stitch to medal loop, slip stitch to first st of previous row, chain 1, htrb in each st of previous row, slip stitch in last st, slip stitch to medal loop, fasten off and weave in all ends
