Crochet Currant Jam Scarf

Materials:
- 6.5 mm K crochet hook
- 437 yards of #4 medium weight yarn (I used 1 cake of Tea Time XL from Hobbii in the “English Breakfast” colorway
- Yarn/tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Measuring Tape
Sizing:
- 8 inches wide
- 80 inches long
Pattern Notes:
- To make your scarf narrower/wider simply adjust the multiples of the starting chain (see multiple numbers below).
- To make the scarf shorter/longer work more row repeats of the pattern.
Currant Jam Crochet Scarf Pattern:
- Multiple of 6 + 2
- Chain 26.
- Row 1: Work a sc in 2nd chain from hook. Then work a sc, ch 3, skip 3 stitches. Then *3 sc, ch 3, skip 3 chains. Repeat from * across until just 2 chains remain. Sc in the remaining 2 chains.
- Row 2: Ch 1 and turn (does not count as stitch), then skip 2 stitches and work 7 dc in ch 3 space. *skip the next stitch, sc into the next stitch, skip next stitch, then work 7 dc in ch 3 space. Repeat from * until you have 2 stitches remaining. Skip next stitch and sc into the last stitch.
- Row 3: Ch 4 and turn (counts as chain space) skip 3 stitches, then sc in next 3 stitches. *ch 3, skip 5 stitches, sc in next 3 stitches. Repeat from * until you have 2 stitches remaining. Ch 1, skip a stitch, then dc in last stitch. (ch 1 and dc count as chain space).
- Row 4: Ch 3 and turn (counts as dc) work 3 dc in next chain space, skip a stitch, then sc into the next stitch, then skip the next stitch. Then work *7 dc in chain 3 space, skip a stitch, work a sc into the next stitch, skip a stitch. Repeat from * to the end. Then 4 dc in the chain space at the end of the row.
- Row 5: Ch 1 and turn (does not count as stitch), work a sc in each of the next 2 stitches, then ch 3, then skip 5 stitches. *Work a sc in each of the next 3 stitches, ch 3, then skip 5 stitches; repeat from * until you have 2 stitches remaining. Sc in the remaining 2 stitches.
Repeat rows 2-5 until your scarf is as tall as you like!
Finishing & Assembly:
- Weave in all ends and your scarf is ready to wear!
