130 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 1

185 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 2

127 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 3

6.00mm crochet hook & 4.00mm for border.

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in multiples of 4 + 1.

Make 125ch, work (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) into 6th ch from hook, * miss 3ch, (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) * rpt from * to * to last 3ch, miss 2ch, 1tr into last ch. Turn. (30 groups)

2nd Row – 3ch, miss 1tr, * fptr (see abbrev) around next tr, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into next 1ch space, fptr around next tr, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to last group and 3tch, work fptr around next tr, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into next 1ch space, fptr around next tr, miss 1tr, work 1tr into top of 3tch. Turn.

Rpt 2nd Row in colour sequence as follows:

Three rows in colour 1, two rows in colour 2, two rows in colour 1, two rows in colour 3, two rows in colour 1, fourteen rows in colour 2, two rows in colour 1, eighteen rows in colour 3, two rows colour 1, fourteen rows in colour 2, two rows in colour 1, two rows in colour 3, two rows in colour 1, two rows in colour 2, five rows in colour 1. Turn.

Border – With 4.00mm hook, make 1ch, work 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each stitch to end, 3dc into top of 3tch, work dc evenly into row ends down first side of blanket, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch along the starting chain edge, 3dc into corner, work dc evenly into row ends up second side of blanket, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc. Turn.

Working 3dc into each corner and starting with 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends.
