Materials Needed: Red Nylon Scrubber, red and green worsted weight cotton yarn, H hook

Directions:

With red yarn, join with sl st anywhere on scrubber

Row 1 — Ch 1, sc in same st, work 24 sc evenly around scrubber, join with

sl st to 1st sc. {24 sc}

Row 2 — Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join with sl st to 1st sc. {24 sc}

Row 3 — Ch 3 2 dc in next sc, 1 dc in next sc, repeat around, join with sl st

to top of ch 3. {36 dc}

Row 4 — Ch 3, dc in next dc, dc in each dc around, join with s st to top

of ch 3 {36 dc}

Row 5: Ch 3 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat around, join with sl st to top of ch 3. {54 dc}

Row 6: sl st in next 3 dc, sc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in each of the next 5

dc's, dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in the next dc, hdc in the next dc, sc in the

next 3 dc, sl st in the next5dc, sc in next dc, dc in next dc, 2dc in

next dc, hdc in next dc, sc in next dc, sl st in same sp, sc in next dc,

hdc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, dc in next dc, sc in next dc, sl st in

next 5 dc's, sc in next 3 dc, hdc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, dc in next 2dc,

2 dc in next 5dc's, sc in next2 dc, sl st in next 2 dc, join with sl st in last st.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Leaves: Join green yarn to top of apple with a slst. Ch 9, sc in 2nd ch

fromhook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, trc in next 2 ch's, dc in next

ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch, join with sl st to top of apple.

Repeat 2 times. You will have 2 leaves. Fasten and weave in ends.
