Note: The number of 3-dc groups along sides of shawl will increase on every row from now on.

Repeat Row 4 until shawl is desired size (shawl will grow in size after blocking).

Finishing: Weave in all tails. Following care instructions on yarn ball band, block shawl by dampening it first (if appropriate for the yarn), then spread it out on thick towels and stretch into triangle shape. Cover with more towels and leave to dry in a place with good air circulation.

Fringe: Wrap yarn several times around an 8" book or piece of cardboard, then cut at one end to form strands. Place fringe in every space along lower edge of shawl as follows: insert hook in space between two 3-dc groups on last row, take 3 strands of fringe and fold in half around hook, pull loop through fabric, then pull ends of strands through loop on hook and tighten knot.
