Materials

2 oz. Sugar ‘n Cream Crafter’s Cotton

(Alternate yarn: 2-3 strands ww cotton held together)

Crochet hook size K

Medium to large shank button

Sewing needle and thread to match yarn

Ch 9

Round 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch across, working in the free loops of the foundation ch on the opposite side, sc in each loop across; do not join rounds...use a stitch marker to indicate the first st of each round.

Rounds 2- 16: Sc in each sc around

Round 17: Ch 12, sl st in the same sc and in each remaining sc around; join with a sl st in the first sl st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Sew button to round 13 opposite the ch-12 loop. Slip ch-12 loop over button to close.
