Crochet Finger Flip Flop

The crochet finger flip-flop is a wonderful addition to your collection of accessories. This little flip-flop can be used as a keyholder, a bag charm and much more. So friends, why not pick up your leftover yarn and put them to good use by beginning this wonderful tutorial.

Skill level: Fun and Easy 

Measurements: 1 3/4″ tall.

What will you need:

Hook: 3.25mm/D

Yarn – Small amounts: CARON Simply Soft, Worsted weight 100% ACRYLIC 6 oz/170 g – 315 yds / 288m

  • Bone – COLOR A
  • Watermelon – COLOR B

Abbreviations:

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

Sl st = Slip stitch

sp = space

FL = Work the Front Loop of the stitch

rep = repeat

* = repeat from here

x sc = the number sc in the end of the row or round you should have.

Flip Flop

Foundation Row: With color A, Ch 7 plus one starting ch.

Round 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each of next 6 ch, 2 sc in last ch, continue working other side of foundation row, 1 sc in same last sp, 1 sc in each of next 6 ch, 2 sc in last ch. (18 sc)

Round 2: *2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 5 sc, rep from * 2 more times, join with a slip st to nest sc. Fasten off. Hide ends by weaving them in.

Join color B to the 5th FL sc of 2nd Round, ch 5, Sl st to 10th FL sc of 2nd Round, ch 5, Sl st to 16th FL sc of 2nd Round. Fasten off. Hide ends by weaving them in.
