- Color B – Gold, Clay, or Blue Spruce 1 ball
- Size U.S. U/X- 25mm Crochet Hook (or size to obtain gauge).
- Large Eye Tapestry Needle
- Flexible or Standard Measuring Tape
- Scissors

First round in pattern = 4.75″
Special Stitches
Invisible join
After completion of the last stitch of the round, fasten off. With a tapestry needle (finger or crochet hook, in this case), weave tail end under both loops of the first stitch of the round. Next, weave through the back loop only, of the last stitch of the round. Weave in tail.
Instructions
– Beg ch/chs of each rnd does NOT count as st, work 1st st in same st as beg ch/chs.
– Join each rnd to beg sc, unless otherwise noted.
– The basket is worked in the rnd from the bottom up.
Starting at base with color A
Rnd 1. Ch2, work 8 sc in 2nd chain from hook, join with sl st. (8sc)
Rnd 2. Ch1, work 2 sc in each st around, join with sl st. (16sc)
Starting Body/Sides:
Rnd 3. Ch1, working in blo, sc in each st around, join with sl st. (16sc)
Rnd 4. Ch1, continue working in BOTH loops, sc in each st around, fasten off, join with invisible join. (16sc)
Attach color B, under blo, of 1st st of rnd.
Rnd 5. Ch1, working in blo, sc in each st around, fasten off, join with invisible join. (16sc)
