I used two skeins of Patons GlamStripes in Coral with an I hook.

Ch 225

Row 1: dc in 14th ch from hook (counts as ch 5 sp, dc, ch 5), dc in each of next 4 ch, * ch 5, sk 5 ch, dc in each of next 5 ch; rep from * across to last 6 ch, ch 5, sk 5 ch, dc in last ch

Row 2: ch 8 (counts as dc, ch 5), turn, *sk ch 5 sp and 1 dc, dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in ch 5 sp, ch 5; rep from * across to end, dc in dc from previous row

Row 3: ch 8 (counts as dc, ch 5), turn, *2 dc in ch 5 sp, dc in each of next 5 dc, ch 5, sk next dc; rep from * to end across, dc in dc from previous row.

Row 4: ch 8 (counts as dc, ch 5), turn, *sk ch 5 sp and 1 dc, dc in next 6 dc, 2 dc in ch 5 sp, ch 5; rep from * across to end, dc in dc from previous row

Row 5: ch 8 (counts as dc, ch 5), turn, *2 dc in ch 5 sp, dc in each of next 7 dc, ch 5, sk next dc; rep from * to end across, dc in dc from previous row.

Pretty much, after rows 2 and 3, you keep repeating those rows, just adding another dc with every row.

When your scarf is as wide as you would like, or almost out of yarn, fasten off after a row 2 and weave in all ends.

My last row had 18 dc sts, after starting with 5 dc sts in the first row. This makes the scarf ripple and curve. My finished scarf is 8" wide and 80" at the first row.
