Ch = Chain

SS = Slip Stitch

Htr = Half Treble Crochet (US HDC)

Tr = Treble (US DC)

Pattern

Foundation Row: Make the chain long enough to fit around your head (they will stretch slightly) working in multiples of 3 – I worked 72 Ch for my crown. Join with a ss (try not to twist chain).

Rnd 1: Ch 2, Htr in each stitch around, join with a ss.

Rnd 2: Ch 2, Htr in each stitch around, join with a ss.

Rnd 3: Ch 6, 1 tr in same stitch (to make 1st v stitch), skip next 2 stitches, *(1 tr, ch 3, 1 tr) into next stitch (V stitch), skip next 2 stitches* repeat from *to* around joining with a ss to the 3rd ch of the first ch 6.
