Materials
Dk / weight 3 yarn I used Paintbox Simply DK in Slate Green for the background colour (276 metres per 100g) and various different colours for the animals.
4ply yarn in black and white for the eyes on the 4, 5 and 6.5”
3 and 4 mm crochet hooks

Eyes
If making small, medium and large use a 3mm hook and black 4 ply yarn.
If making extra large use dk black yarn and 4mm hook
Round 1: In a magic circle, ch1, 6 sc, slst to the first and pull tight. (6)
Fasten off with a long end for sewing, sew one white line for small, medium and large and two white lines for extra large.
Beever
Make circle in medium brown
Small 4” / Medium 5” square
NOSE
Using dark brown
Make a magic circle, ch1, sc 6, slst to first and pull tight. (6) Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
TEETH
Using white
Ch5, hdc in the third chain from hook, hdc 2. (3) Fasten off with a long end for sewing. Sew in place, sew a black line in the middle.
EARS
Make two using brown
Make a magic circle, ch2, hdc 9, pull tight. (9) Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
Large 6.5” square
NOSE
Using dark brown
Make a magic circle, ch1, sc 8, slst to first and pull tight. (8) Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
TEETH
Using white
Ch6, dc in the fourth chain from hook, dc 2. (3) Fasten off with a long end for sewing. Sew in place, sew a black line in the middle.
EARS
Make two using brown
Make a magic circle, ch2, 5 hdc, 1 dc, 5 hdc, pull tight. Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
