Size 10 thread

About 10 inches of 1/4 in wide ribbon to match your color of thread.

Chain 26, 1 sc in second chain from Hook and 1sc across chain, 3 sc in last chain. Working along opposite side of chain place 1 sc in each stitch across row, 2 sc in last chain and join with a slip stitch.

Rds 2: chain two, one dc in each stitch and join with a slip stitch

Rds 3 & 4: same as rd 2.

Rds 5 & 6: ch 3, *1dc the next dc, skip one, ch 1, 1 DC in next DC around, join to chain two of the turning chain.

Rd 7: sl St to next ch 1 sp, ch 3, *yo 4x, pull up a loop in skipped stitch of rd 5, yo, draw through two loops, 5x, (long stitch made) ch 1, skip next DC, rep from * around. Join with slip stitch to top of chain three.

Rd 8: ch 1, 1sc in top of each long stitch, * yo, 1dc in top of DC of row 6, sc in top of long stitch around. Join with slip stitch to the beginning of a row.

Rd 9: chain one, sc around, join.

Repeat from row 3 for a total of three times.

Rd 10: ch 1, sc in s/p, *skip 1sc, 6 dc on next sc. Rep from * around. Join.

Run ribbon through row 8 and weave in threads.
