Crochet X'mas Tree (Go Green)
Material:-

  • Worsted-weight yarn, White colour
  • F/5 3.75mm crochet hook
  • Poly-Fil or any stuffing of your choice
  • Yarn needle
  • Colourful buttons ( 20 pcs )

Abbreviation Key:-

  • sc = single crochet
  • tr = triple crochet
  • ch = chain
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • dec = decrease (join next 2 sts into 1)
  • inc = increase (2 sc in next st)
  • BLO = back loop only
  • FLO = front loop only

Notes:-

  • Crochet in a spiral. Use something to mark the first stitch of a round, and move it up as you work.
  • “The Magic Circle” is use to start each piece. Alternative technique: ch 2, then sc x6 into the second chain away from the hook. Slip stitch to join the round. This creates Round 1.

Upper part:-

Use White colour yarn.

Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 4 stitches

Round 2: ( 1 inc, 1 sc ) x2 = 6 sts

Round 3: ( 1 inc, 1 sc ) x3 = 9 sts

Round 4: sc 1 round = 9 sts

Round 5: ( 1 inc, 2 sc ) x3 = 12 sts

Round 6: sc 1 round = 12 sts

Round 7: ( 1 inc, 3 sc ) x3 = 15 sts

Round 8: sc 1 round = 15 sts

Round 9: ( 1 inc, 4 sc ) x3 = 18 sts

Round 10: sc 1 round = 18 sts

Round 11: ( 1 inc, 5 sc ) x3 = 21 sts

Round 12: sc 1 round = 21 sts

Round 13: ( 1 inc, 6 sc ) = 24 sts

Round 14: sc 1 round = 24 sts

Round 15: ( 1 inc, 7 sc ) x3 = 27 sts

Round 16: sc 1 round = 27 sts

Round 17: ( 1 inc, 8 sc ) x3 = 30 sts

Round 18: sc 1 round = 30 sts

Round 19: ( 1 inc, 9 sc ) x3 = 33 sts

Round 20: sc 1 round = 33 sts

Round 21: ( 1 inc, 10 sc ) x3 = 36 sts

Round 22: sc 1 round = 36 sts

Round 23: ( 1 inc, 11 sc ) x 3 = 39 sts

Round 24: sc 1 round = 39 sts

Round 25: ( 1 inc, 12 sc ) x 3 = 42 sts

Round 26: sc 1 round = 42 sts

Round 27:Fasten off, leave a 12"

*Sew all the colourful buttons to the upper part.

Fasten off & hide the tail.

Bottom part :-

Use White colour yarn.

Round 1: Magic circle with a base of 7 stitches = 7 sts

Round 2: inc x 7 = 14 sts

Round 3: ( 1 inc, 1 sc ) x 7 = 21 sts

Round 4: ( 1 inc, 2 sc ) x 7 = 28 sts

Round 5: ( 1 inc, 3 sc ) x 7 = 35 sts

Round 6: ( 1 inc, 4 sc ) x 7 = 42 sts

Round 7: sc 1 round = 42 sts

Round 8: sc 42 sts with Upper part together

Round 9: Fasten off & hide the tail.
* Stuff with Poly-Fil.
