Flipper: Round 1 – make a magic circle, sc 8 into the circle (8)
Round 2-4 – sc 1 in each st around (8)
Round 5 – *sc 1 in the first two sts, sc2tog, repeat from * around (6)
Round 6 – sc 1 in each st around (6), finish off and leave long tail for
sewing

*make 2 and sew to the opposite sides of the body; I did not stuff the flippers in order to create the “bent” look seen in the photos

Tail: Row 1 – ch 5, sc in the second ch from the hool and in each ch across (4)
Row 2 – ch 3, tc in the first st, [dc 1, sc 1] in the next st, [sc 1, dc 1] in the next
st, tc 2 in the last st, sl st into the last st (3 tc, 2 dc, 2 sc)

*make 2 and use a long yarn tail to sew together, use any short yarn tails to stuff the tail lightly and continue sewing the tail to the body

Muzzle: Round 1 – make a magic circle, sc 8 into the circle (8)
Round 2-3 – sc 1 in each st around (8)

*use a long tail to sew around the middle pinching the sides together, sew onto the body between the eyes
**use crochet thread to sew a nose onto the muzzle (I sewed the outline of a triangle and sewed over the area inside the triangle to make the nose)

Stem: Round 1 – in Mint, make a magic circle, sc 8 into the circle (8)
Round 2 – *[sl st, ch 3, sl st] into the same st, repeat from * for each st
around (16 sl st, 8 ch3-sp)

*use a long tail to sew the stem to the top of the body; end by sewing up through the center of the stem and knotting the tail to create the completed stem look
