- Yarn: Worsted weight Cotton 150- 200 yds. Sample yarns: sugar and crème swimming pool, black currant
- Crochet Hook: I (5.5mm)
- Miscellaneous: Yarn needle for weaving in ends, 3/4” button, sewing needle, thread
- Finished Measurements: 16” long x 13” across bottom edge
- Gauge: Not necessary for this project

- Increases and regular sts:
2hdc in the next st = an increase. Work 2 hdc in the next st

1. With an I hook and worsted weight cotton yarn, ch 6, sl st in the last ch from hook to join in a circle.

Tip: In the middle of the row you should work (sc, dc) 3 times. The first time is part of the last repeat and might cause you to miss one of the (sc, dc).
23. Ch 1, turn, 2hdc in the same st, *sk 1, (sc, dc) in the next st*, repeat until 1 st remains, 2hdc in the last st. (32sts)
Note: The remainder of the cloth basically repeats steps 22-23, increasing 2 sts every 2nd row and accommodating the increases. I have written the steps out below.
