I'm tight crocheter using DK weight yarn and size 4 hook.

Abbrevations used (US terms):
Col — colour :)
ch — chain
sc — single crochet
long sc — long single crochet (worked over stitches of 2 previous rows)
dc — double crochet
dc2tog — double crochet 2 together (forms a cluster)
fpsc — front post single crochet
fptr — front post triple crochet
bphdc — back post half double crochet
sl st — slip stitch
ch sp — chain space
sp — space (for this flower space between dc's)
popcorn — 5 double crochet popcorn stitch
flying ch — chain in the beginning of round, unattached to previous round ;)

Mini mandala pattern:
Round 1: Col A. Magic ring, ch 2 (counts as first dc of a cluster), dc (finishing this dc form first dc2tog) in magic ring. *Ch 2, dc2tog in magic ring* repeat from * to * 5 more times. Ch 2, sl st in top of first cluster. Fasten off.
(14 ch, 7 dc2tog)

Round 2: Col B. Flying *ch 3, popcorn in ch sp* repeat from * to * 6 more times. Sl st in first ch. Fasten off.
(21 ch, 7 popcorns)

Round 3: Col C. Make a standing *fptr around next cluster of 1st round. 6 sc in ch sp of 2nd round. Fptr around same cluster of 1st round. Fpsc around popcorn.* repeat from * to * 6 more times.
Sl st in first fptr made. Fasten off.
(42 sc, 7 fpsc, 14 fptr)

Round 4: Col B. In this round we will skip all fp stitches and work only in sc of 3rd row.
Start in first of previous row's 6 sc, make standing sc, sc in next 2 sts. * ch, sc in next 6 sts * repeat from * to * 5 more times. Sc in next 3 sts, sl st in first sc made. Fasten off.
(7 ch, 42 sc)

Round 5: Col A. Make a standing *sc in previous rows sc right before skipped fp stitches, sc in next st. 9 dc in ch sp.* repeat from * to * 6 more times. Sl st in first sc made. Fasten off.
(14 sc, 63 dc)

Round 6: Col C. Make standing * long sc in sp between sc's of row 4 & petals of 5th row. Bphdc in each dc of previous row.* repeat from * to * 6 more times. Sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
(7 long sc, 63 bphdc)
