Crochet Flower Hot Pad

Materials Needed: 1 ball of variegated pink, plain white and plain pink worsted weight cotton yarn, I hook

Directions: with variegated pink and white held together ch 6 join with a sl st to form a ring ch 3 work 9 dc in ring, join with a sl st to top of ch 3

Round 2 — ch 3 dc in same st as joining, ch 1, *work 2 dc in next st, ch 1 *, continue from * to * around join with a sl st to top of ch 3

Round 3 — *ch 3 sc in next ch 1 sp on previous round,* repeat for * to * to end sc directly into first ch 3 sp

Round 4 — hdc, dc, hdc, sc in the space that your already in from previous round, ch 1, *sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, in next ch 3 sp, ch 1*, continue around form *to * ending with a sl st in first sc

Round 5 — work 4 dc in the top of the dc that was made on the previous round, ch 2, sc in ch1 sp of previous round, continue around, join with a so st in sc on previous round

Round 6 — *ch 3 work 3 dc in the 2nd dc of the 4 dc that were just completed on the previous round, ch 3, sc in sc on previous round,* continue for *to* join with a slst in the first st on previous round. fasten off

With pink attach with a sc in any ch 4 sp work 3 more sc in the ch 4 sp, sc in each dc, work 4 sc in next ch 4 sp, sc in sc on previous round, *work 4 sc in next ch 4 sp, sc in each dc, work 4 sc in next ch 4 sp, sc in sc on previous round,* continue around from *to* fasten off.
