Tapestry needle, earring wires, small amount of fiberfill stuffing

Earring measures 1” (2½ cm) x 1¼” (3 1/8 cm)

GAUGE: 2 sc = ¼” (6.4 mm). CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Heart (Make 2)

Side (Make 2)

Row 1 (Right Side): Ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook; ch 1, turn – 3 sc.

Row 2: 2 sc first sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in last sc; ch 1, turn – 5 sc.

Row 3: 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc across to last 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc; ch 1, turn – 7 sc.

Rows 4–6: Repeat Row 3 – 13 sc.

Row 7: Sc in each sc across; ch 1, turn – 13 sc.

Row 8: Sc in first sc, hdc in next sc, dc in next sc, tr in next sc, dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, sl st in next sc, hdc in next sc, dc in next sc, tr in next sc, dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, sc in last sc; ch 1, turn – 13 sc.

Row 9: Repeat Row 8.

First Side

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Second Side

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

FINISHING

Using long piece, sew 2 Sides Wrong Sides together beginning to halfway point, stuffing with fiberfill as you sew. Finish sewing remainder of edge. Fasten off and weave in ends. Sew earring wire to assembled earring.
