I am using Red Heart worsted weight, and an H hook
*I have to add that I am left handed, if you are right handed yours will just come out opposite of mine. Right for left, left for right hand!
Row 1)ch 23, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch accross, ch2 (counts as first st now and throughout), turn
Row 2)BPDC around 2nd st, * FPDC around next st, BPDC in next st and in each st accross to last st, dc in last st, sl st to first ch2,
Row 3) ch1, sc in same st and in each st accross, sl st to first sc to form circle.
Now we will be working in rounds
Rnd 1) ch2 (does NOT count as first st, now and through out) dc in same st and in each st around, joing to top of first dc
Rnd 2-11) Repeat rnd 1
Rnd 12) ch2, dc in same st and in each st around to last 4 sts, ch3, skip next 2sts, dc in last 2sts, sl st to top of first dc.
Rnd 13) ch1, sc in same st and in each st around. Fasten off
Repeat for Right hand until Rnd 12
Rnd 12) ch2, dc in same st and in next st, ch3, skip next 2sts, dc in next st and in each st around, sl st to top of first dc
Rnd 13) ch1, sc in same st and in each st and ch around, fasten off weave in ends
