Head

Use white or tan yarn.

Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook

Rnds 3-5: Sc 12 (12 sts)

Rnd 6: (Inc, Sc 1) rep 6 times (18 sts)

Rnd 7: Sc 6, (Inc, Sc 1) rep 6 times (24 sts)

Finish off and weave in ends, making sure you leave the end open. This will make it easier to attach the head to the body. Sew the ears to the back of the head. Use black yarn to make French knot eyes and stitch on a nose. I used a few stitches to narrow the face in the area of the eyes to make the face more fox-like. Use the brown yarn to stitch decorative markings on the fox’s face.

Back Feet

Use white or tan yarn. Make 2.

Finish off and weave in ends. I didn’t stuff the back feet.

Front Feet

Use white or tan yarn. Make 2.

The front feet should attach just below the rounded breast portion of the body. The back feet should be sewn on at the base of either side of the body; the tail should be sewn on at the very back near the bottom. Use the picture as a guide.
