– Lily Sugar’n Cream Super Size Yarn Mod Blue
– CLOVER 5.0-mm Crochet Hook
– Polyfill
– Yarn Needles
– 8mm Black Eyes
– NOW, there is yellow for the beak, brown for the hat and a gray or brownish toned tail. These 40 Assorted Colors Acrylic Yarn Skeins have these colors, but not the same exact shade. Or just grab scrap yarn strands and you could probably get the same results.

Assembly
Sew the beak on with the 5sc on the body and the magic circle will be in front as the beak.
Stuff some cotton in the hat and sew the hat on
Sew the tail on the back as it is
Feet
Grab a long strand of blue yarn, and thread the needle. Get to the bottom of the platypus and sew repeatedly across 3 stitches at the bottom to create a tiny bump.
I used blue yarn for the front two feet and yellow for the back two feet
