9.00mm hook size for main part & 8.00mm hook size for border
UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in any number of stitches
With 9.00mm hook and colour 1 make 70ch, 1htrh (see abbrev) into 2nd ch from hook, 1htrh into each ch to end. Turn. (69htrh)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1htrh into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1htrh into each stitch to end. Turn.
Repeat 2nd Row in colour sequence as follows:-
7 rows in colour 1
# 9 rows in colour 2
9 rows in colour 3
9 rows in colour 1 #
Rpt from # to # once. Fasten off.
Border – With 8.00mm hook, join in colour 2, work 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each stitch to end, 3dc into corner, work dc evenly along first side of blanket, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch along starting chain edge, 3dc into corner, work dc evenly along second side of blanket, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work 2 rows of 1dc into each dc around all sides of the blanket working 3dc into each corner, ss to first dc on the end of each row. Fasten off.
