Pattern Notes
Cowl is made creating one LONG strand of short rows, then the look of cabling is created by edging the entire project, twisting as you go.
Instructions
Row 1: Ch 3, work 3 dc in 3rd ch from the hook, turn (3 dc)
Row 2: Ch 1 (does NOT count as a stitch), 3 dc in first st, turn (3 dc)
Repeat row 2 until project measures approx. 24’ (288”) – 7.32 m (731.5 cm)
Edging
Ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in ea dc across, *twist the next row down counterclockwise so that the dc are facing you, (sc, ch 1) across those three dc, repeat from * to end of project, fasten off
Assembly
Wrap strand around a piece of cardboard cut to 24” (or to length that you desire), once completely wrapped, use the beginning and end of strand to secure the cowl by tying them together around all the strands.
