With Front Panel 1 to the right, attach yarn to the center ch-3 sp of the square where the first st of panel 1 is worked.
Repeat Panel 1 instructions working the beg dc in the same ch-3 sp where you attached yarn to. Do not fasten off after last row worked, continue to Border.
BORDER
Ch 1, sc evenly around entire shawl, place 1 st per every sc row, place 2 sts per every dc row and work (sc, ch 1, sc) at the bottom ch-3 corner space, join with a sl st.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
FINISHING
Wet block or steam block shawl (optional).
