Materials:
- J (6.0 mm) hook
- 1 Skein Cascade 220 (shown here in gray) (Note: Scarf can be as long or as wide as you like per pattern instructions, please be sure to adjust yarn requirements accordingly)
- Several yards of Cascade 220 (shown here in black) for contrasting edge
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
Sizing:
- Width-as long as you like
- Length-as long as you like
Abbreviations:
- ch: Chain
- sc: Single Crochet
Instructions:
Ch the length of the scarf desired, plus 2 more ch. (Scarf shown here began with 160 chains, I simply made a chain that was long enough to my liking and kept track of the chain count)
Foundation Row: In the 2nd chain from the hook, work 1 sc in each ch.
Row 1: Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 sc in the front loop only of each sc from the previous row.
Repeat row 1 until scarf is desired width.
*Optional: for “outline” edge (shown here in black), repeat row 1 in contrasting color of your choice. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in ends and you’re all finished!
