Skill level: Easy

Size: One size — approx. 40" circumference at upper arm & 14" long

Materials:

240 yds. soft, fuzzy novelty yarn (rayon/nylon/acrylic blend)

(sample shown in Online Linie 43 «Punta»)

Size P and K hooks

Tapestry needle

Gauge: 6 double crochet in pattern (i.e., double crochet worked in spaces

between each double crochet) = 4" using size P hook

Stitches/Terms: beginning (beg), chain (ch), double crochet (dc), half double

crochet (hdc), increase (inc), single crochet (sc), repeat (rep), round (rnd), slip

stitch (sl st), space (sp)

Pattern notes:

Capelet is worked from the neck down.

Due to the fuzziness of the yarn, it may be difficult to see where to insert the

hook in the foundation chain and body of the piece, so stitches are worked in the

spaces between each dc instead of in the top two loops of each stitch.

Special stitches:

Increase (inc): work (dc-ch 1-dc) all in same space.
