Use thread double throughout.

Starting at bottom with Platinum, ch 58 to measure 7 ½ inches. 1st row: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 3, turn. 2nd row: Skip first dc, dc in each dc across, dc in top of turning chain. Break off. 3rd row: Attach Black to back loop of 9th dc at beginning of previous row, ch 3, picking up back loop only, make dc in each dc to within last 8 dc. Ch 3, turn. 4th row: Skip first dc, dc in each dc, dc in top of ch-3. Ch 3, turn. 5th row: Skip first dc, dc in each dc, dc in top of turning chain. Break off, turn. 6th row: Attach Platinum to top of turning chain, ch 3. Picking up front loop only, skip first dc, dc in each dc, dc in top of turning chain. Ch 3, turn. 7th to 15th rows incl: Repeat 2nd row. 16th row: Dc in first dc (1 dc increased), dc in each dc across, 2 dc in top of turning chain (another increase made). Ch 3, turn. 17th row: Repeat 2nd row. 18th to 22nd rows incl: Repeat 16th row. Break off at end of 22nd row.

Line with felt. With Platinum, sc closely around bone ring. Sew in place.
