Materials:

  • F (3.75 mm) crochet hook
  • 348 yards of super fine/#1 weight yarn (I used 2 balls of Friends Cotton Linen from Hobbii in the “Pink/Dark Violet” colorway)
  • Yarn/tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Measuring Tape

Sizing:

  • 6 inches wide
  • 60 inch circumference

Pattern Notes:

  • Change the width by adjusting the stitch multiple (see below).
  • Change the circumference by working more/less rows of the pattern.
  • You can seam the ends together like I did or leave it unseamed and wear it like a traditional scarf too!

Berry Smoothie Crochet Cowl Pattern:

  • Ch 40 (multiple of 6+4)
  • Row 1: Work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) into the 6th ch from the hook. *skip 5 ch, then in the next ch, work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). Repeat across until just 4 chains remain. Skip 3 ch, then work a dc into the last ch.
  • Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. Work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in each ch 3 pace from the previous row (center of each fan from the previous row). Then work a dc into the topmost chain of the turning chain to finish the row.
  • Repeat row 2 for 60 inches or as long as you like.

Finishing & Assembly:

  • Seam ends using the whip stitch, weave in any ends and your cowl is ready to wear!
