    Materials Needed:
  • Small amount white worsted weight yarn with a silver strand running through it.
  • 2 shank style buttons 5/8" diameter.
  • Polyester fiberfill
  • Size H 8 aluminum crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Yarn Thickness: 4mm
  • Gauge: 4sc=1"
  • Finished Size: 4" across
  • Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
Make 2 motifs.
RND 1: Ch5, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch3, dc in ring, ch2. *2 dc in ring. Ch2. Rep from * 3 times more. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 2: Ch3, dc in same st as slst. Tr in sp bet dc. Ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook ((p)picot made). Tr in same sp as last tr. 2dc in next dc. First point made. [Dc in starting ring behind ch2 sp on rnd 1. Sc in ch2 sp. Dc in starting ring behind same ch2 sp.] *2dc in next dc. Tr, p, tr in sp bet dc. 2dc in next dc. Rep bet []. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off first motif only. Weave ends into work.

Assembly
At the end of the second motif, sc in each st around work a ch2 at the top of each point. On the last point ch5 instead of 2. Stuff. Then finish sc to close and slst to the first sc. Fasten off and weave ends in. Sew buttons to front and back using yarn. This is to cover the holes. You will need to weave in the ends to secure the yarn. Attach key ring to ch5 lp.
