Stitching Instructions for Making the Spiral Socks Free Pattern:
Cuff:
- Using the 4.0 mm (G) hook, ch 10 (or desired cuff width).
- Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and across. Turn. (9 sc)
- Row 2: Ch 1, sc in back loops only (BLO) across. Turn. (9 sc)

- Repeat Rounds 2 and 3 until the leg reaches the desired length (typically 6-8 inches).
Heel:
- Work the heel flap in rows over half the stitches.
- Row 1: Ch 1, sc across half of the stitches. Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 1, sc across. Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 for about 10-12 rows.
- For the heel turn: Row 1: Sc across until the center, sc2tog, sc to end. Turn.
- Row 2: Sc to the center, sc2tog, sc to end. Turn.
- Repeat until about one-third of the original stitches remain.
Gusset and Foot:
- Pick up and sc along the sides of the heel flap.
- Resume working in rounds, maintaining the spiral pattern from the leg.

- Continue until the sock measures about 2 inches shorter than the foot length.
Toe:
- Round 1: Sc in next 6 sts, sc2tog, repeat around.

- Continue decreasing every round until 8-10 stitches remain.
- Fasten off, weave yarn through remaining stitches, and pull tight to close.
