Crochet Toothpaste and Toothbrush Travel Pouch

Peaches N Creme, 4Ply, WW. (Less than 2 oz White and less than 1/2 oz Red)Hook Size H/8-5.00MM
1-1" Button
Sewing Needle and White Sewing Thread (for button)
Yarn Needle
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
POUCH
R1: Using White, Ch30, Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in ea rem Ch. (29sc)
Rs2-36: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
Fasten off.
ASSEMBLY
Fold the foundation edge over and align it with R24. Secure it on each edge with a stitch marker.
Fold last row back, aligning it with R25 and secure it.
The edges should meet… with the opening facing you, use the same yarn to join cor sts along the entire edge with sl sts.
Turn the POUCH around and sl st cor sts tog along that edge also.
BAND
R1: Using Red, Ch26, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in ea rem ch. (25sc)
R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
R3: Ch1, turn. Sc in the 1st st. Ch2 (this will be the button hole), sk next 2sc. Sc in ea rem ch. (23sc & 2chs)
R4: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea ch across to ch2-sp. 2sc in ch2 sp. Sc in last st. (25sc)
R5: Rep R2.
Fasten off.
ASSEMBLY
Referring to the upper right photo, use the sewing needle and thread to sew the button on the end of the Band without the button hole.
Position the band as show in the photo and secure it in the center back of the Pouch using a yarn needle and a small length of the red yarn.
Insert the toothpaste and the toothbrush, fold over and button the band as shown in the bottom photo.
