Use a 2.5mm/C-2 crochet hook, unless otherwise indicated.
Crochet the forelegs (make 2)
The legs don’t need to be filled with fiberfill.
Start with a 1.75mm/A-0 hook and beige (secondary color) yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc into magic ring (6)
Rnd 2 to 4 (3 rnds): 6 sc (6)

Crochet the tail in beige (secondary color)
23 ch
R 1: 22 sc (starting in 2nd ch) (22)
Fasten off.
Mark the inner stitches of the legs
Before starting to crochet the belly, mark the innermost 6 stitches of the hind legs and the innermost 4 stitches of the forelegs with stitch markers.
The tips of the legs (where the feet would be) should point forward. This is especially distinguishable on the hind legs. It matters less when it comes to the forelegs.
With this in mind, mark the two stitches next to the inner 6 stitches of the hind legs and the two stitches next to the inner 4 stitches of the forelegs.
I used pink stitch markers for the left legs and blue stitch markers for the right legs.
Crochet the belly in beige (secondary color)
7 ch
Rnd 1: Inc in second ch, 4 sc, 4 sc in last ch, 4 sc (in other side of chains), inc in last ch (16)
Rnd 2: 2 inc, 4 sc, 4 inc, 4 sc, 2 inc (24) <img 3="">

Crochet the legs on
In round 3, you will crochet the legs on the body.
Rnd 3: Sc in the first stitch of the round (on the belly),
6 sc together with left hind leg: Insert the hook in the first of the 6 marked stitches of the left hind leg (pink) and in the next stitch of the belly, make a sc, sc in the remaining 5 marked stitches of the leg together with the next 5 stitches on the belly,
4 sc together with left foreleg: sc the 4 marked stitches of the left foreleg (pink) together with the next 4 stitches of the belly the same way,
2 sc: sc in the next 2 stitches of the belly,
4 sc together with right foreleg (blue),
6 sc together with right hind leg (blue),

Change to light brown (main color) in the previous stitch.
Now the legs are crocheted on from the inside.

Stitch the gaps between the fore- and hind legs together, using the light brown yarn ends. Use the remaining yarn ends as filling for the upper legs.

Rnd 13: 6 dec (6)
Close the round and fasten off.
