Yarn: Cascade Yarns Nifty Cotton (100% Cotton; 185 yds; 100 g; yarn weight category: 4/worsted/medium): 1 skein #07 Soft Lilac, one skein is sufficient to make several scrubbies. Each scrubby takes about 15 yds (8 g) of yarn.
Crochet Hook: J (6 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.

Scrubby
Make a magic ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1 (2 sc, 2 hdc, 8 dc) in ring, place locking st marker in first st to mark beginning of rnd, do not turn – 12 sts. Move marker up into first st of each rnd as work progresses.
Rnd 2: 2 dc in each st around, do not turn – 24 sts.
Rnd 3: [Dc in next st, 2 dc in next st] 4 times, [hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st] 4 times, [sc in next st, 2 sc in next st] 4 times, sl st in first st to join, do not turn – 36 sts.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 1, *sc in next st, ch 1, repeat from * around, sl st to first st to join – 36 sts. Fasten off.
Finishing
Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle.
