- Red Heart Love White and Black yarn
- 3 buttons
- I hook
Row 1: Chain 20, work a hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook and each chain across, Turn ‑18 hdc
Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in the first hdc, work 2 hdc in the next hdc, hdc in the next 14 hdc, work 2 hdc in the next hdc, hdc in the last, Turn ‑20 hdc
Rows 3–17: *Ch 2, hdc in each hdc across, Turn ‑20 hdc, *Repeat this for a Total of 15 times
Rows 18–27: (Straps) *ch 2, work a hdc in the same stitch as the ch 2, hdc in the next 4 hdc, Turn ‑5 hdc *Repeat this for a total of 10 times
Rows 18–26: (The other strap) On the other side of row 18, slip stitch with your white yarn, *ch 2, work a hdc in the same stitch ch 2, hdc in the next 4 hdc, Turn ‑5 hdc *Repeat this for a total of 9 times
Row 27: *ch 2, work a hdc in the same stitch as the ch 2, hdc in the next hdc, skip the next hdc, hdc in the next two, Turn ‑4 hdc (This will be where your button hole goes)
Sl st With Black yarn, sc around the entire bib.
Sew a button on top of row 27, the row 27, without the buttonhole. Then, you can secure the button with the hole on the other side of the straps to close the straps together on the baby.
Bow: Black yarn, I hook, Chain 4, sl st to join. *Chain 4, work 4 treble crochet into the ring, chain 4, sl st into the ring. Then, the side of the bow, *Repeat to create the other side of the bow. Wrap about 15 inches of yarn around the center, then weave in the ends to secure it. Sew the bow on top of the center of the bib, as seen in the picture above. Sew two buttons vertically below the bow.
