You will need:

  • Worsted weight yarn in red, yellow, light and dark green, orange, purple, light brown/tan, dark brown, and white. Or you can use whatever colors you like.
  • Size G (4mm) hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Stitch marker (optional)
  • Scissors

sc=single crochet

inc= increase

dec= decrease

BLO= back loop only

sl st= slip stitch

ch= chain

Unless otherwise stated, you can use either a magic ring, ch2 or ch4 ring when the pattern states to crochet into a ring.

Round 1: sc 4 in loop (4)

Round 2: inc in next stitch. sc in next 3 stitches (5)

Round 3: sc around (5)

Round 4: inc around (10)

Round 5: sc, inc around (15)

Round 6: sc in next 2, inc, around (20)

Round 7-10: 4 rounds sc around (20)

Round 11: sc in next 2, dec, around (15)

Round 12: sc, dec around(10)

Round 13: dec around (5)
